I'm already a huge fan of Organteq, Modartt's stunning faithful physical model of a church organ, but found myself wanting to twist the pipes into unusual shapes. Airteq answers my prayers - it kept the physical modelling of Organteq, but allows me total control of the envelopes, the ability to create novel combinations of pipes and to modulate groups of parameters. Try doing that with a real church organ!

Like all great instruments, it has a distinctive character, and I imagine it will be gracing many future soundtracks. I feel I've only begun to scrape the surface of its potential, and it's already one of my favourite instruments. The combination of the authenticity of physical modelling and synthesiser control is a dream come true. There's only one word to describe the sound: organic.

Man it is totally happening.. I love it. Something that caught me by surprise for sure. It is just such a cool instrument.. I can see a lot of people wanting to use this. It's so unique and very innovative.
